This Life is Yours
This Sunday, we begin our study of This Life is Yours, a book about healing your whole Self and discovering the eternal, unbreakable You. Our focus in Chapter 1 is understanding our Wholeness and how healing is an expression of our Wholeness. We discover new ways of thinking and ways of living in Wholeness. We examine ways we can heal through activating the Principle of Health and Well-Being.
Join us as we embark on this journey of self-discovery and healing together with inspiring music and friendly fellowship.
The Labor of Our Fruits
Many stories in varied scriptures point to the bearing of fruit as a symbol of spiritual growth, which also shows how many religions and spiritual paths are in agreement as to how we should take care of our spirituality. This Sunday, Jean-Marie will dive into the stories around the bearing of such spiritual fruit, which is often connected with the expectation to put in the work. How can we learn to work smart instead of hard to gain what we seek in our spiritual lives?
Join us this Sunday for another uplifting and meaningful service followed by welcoming fellowship.
Whose Will Is It Anyway?
Whose will is the driving force in life? God's? Yours? Both? What about divine purpose, guidance, and plan?
This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Paul Hasselbeck, widely regarded as one of the leading authorities on metaphysics, who will lead us through an exploration of these concepts based on the Power of Will.
Join us for an inspiring message, great music, and lots of fun.
Peace Like a River
Rev. Robert Brumet joins us to help us explore the ideas that when we learn to trust our heart we see that it has its own intelligence, and that our heart is always taking us Home—to that which we most desire.
The 4 Stages of Spiritual Growth
Join Rev. Howard Caesar as he seeks to bring clarity to the stages of spiritual growth that everyone passes through. Find out where you are and where you are headed in your progression of moving to expanded levels of growth and awareness.
Meeting Myrtle Again for the First Time
There are two books published, How to Let God Help You and Healing Letters, that give the world a glimpse into knowing Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of Unity. They include letters she wrote to people that had written to her asking for prayer, as well as a few lessons she taught. Yet, they represent an incomplete picture. There is an enormous amount of Myrtle’s writings that are unpublished, and it is from these that we can meet Myrtle again for the first time, engage with the woman that perhaps we didn’t know as well as we thought we did.
Join Rev. Kelly Isola and meet Myrtle again for the "first time." It will surely be a lively and thought-provoking time together.
The Soul of the World
This Sunday, we are blessed with the presence of the YOU (Youth of Unity) from across our region (including 13 states). The teenagers spent the week at Unity Fort Worth to engage in the first in-person YOU event in the Unity movement since the pandemic—the Legacy Rally.
All week, the YOUers focused on developing the understanding that our personal legends contribute to the higher consciousness of the world, and we are honored to have them share their experience and Wisdom with us during service. Join us, for another Sunday of uplift and affirmation, filled with buzzing energy, and a delicious potluck after service. You do not want to miss this.
Queen Sunday
This Sunday, we will, we will rock you with a special Rock 'N' Roll Sunday service! Our amazing music team will treat us to live performances of songs by the legendary British rock band, Queen, and together we will explore the Divine Ideas expressed through their music. Join us for this special, rocking experience and great fellowship.
Ritualizing Grief
The Hebrew date of the 9th of Av (Sunday, July 18th this year) is the darkest, saddest day of the calendar in Jewish tradition. Rabbi Siger will explain the roots of this somber holiday, some of the practices observed and how the lessons of this particularly Jewish holy day have universal lessons and applications.
Loss and grief are part of the human condition and can be experienced as individuals or as communities, and often both. Learning how to navigate and confront grief and loss is key to spiritual resiliency and continued growth.
Join us this Sunday as we learn about this important Jewish tradition and how it can influence our own spiritual journey, and enjoy wonderful music and friendly fellowship.
The Path is the Goal
As we conclude our talk series on Pema Chödrön's "When Things Fall Apart," we celebrate her concluding message on how our path is our goal. We'll explore the idea that enlightenment is not a matter of future achievements but that of being present, right here and now. Join us this Sunday for another exciting opportunity to connect with your community, whether in person or online.
Independence Day
This 4th of July Sunday, we'll be celebrating Independence Day with special music and some great fellowship among our community. We will also continue our study of Pema Chödrön's "When Things Fall Apart," celebrating the freedom we learn from the introduced Buddhist philosophies and practices.
Graduation Sunday
Join us this Sunday for a special Youth & Family Ministries-lead service celebrating the process of transitions, as we honor our recent Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) graduates and enjoy inspiring readings, uplifting music, and great fellowship.
Oneness: Our Greatest Virtue?
We hear a lot about the idea that “We are all one.” It’s infused into our spiritual, wellness and mindfulness communities and growth practices. Yet have you ever wondered sometimes if we can just be one? Do we actually know what this means or what it looks like?
We've made this big value and virtue out of oneness. In some traditions there is the belief that the universe and all life came into form to differentiate itself, to experience itself. So is the virtue of oneness a reality?
Join Rev. Kelly Isola for a unique perspective and perhaps some evolutionary thinking around this idea of oneness. And, of course, celebrate with us the personal Divine with heart-felt music and great fellowship.
Servants of Peace
This Sunday, we recognize the many opportunities in our lives to become servants of Peace regardless of our religious or spiritual background. Following Pema Chödrön's considerations in "When Things Fall Apart," we will learn more about the relevance of service in everyone's lives as well as our own.
Growing Up
Continuing with our talk series on Pema Chödrön's "When Things Fall Apart," we'll be focusing on the development of spiritual maturity based on Buddhist Principles with a glimpse into Christianity's approach and that of other religions.
It’s Never Too Late
This Sunday, we'll continue our exploration of Buddhist Principles and how they are applied in every day life, using Pema Chödrön's "When Things Fall Apart." We will also honor those who have fallen in service to our country with a special service featuring moving music and a meaningful ceremony.
When Things Fall Apart
Based on Pema Chödrön's book "When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times," we will begin our spiritual journey to face the many adversities in our lives with a level of gentleness and kindness we may still be inspired to explore. This Sunday, Jean-Marie will share his take on the first four chapters of Pema Chödrön's book, mixed in with Unity teachings and those of other religions and spiritual practices. You are welcome to read along or just come along for the ride.
Facing Adversity with Patience and Kindness
Life does not always look the way we believe we desire it to be. Experiencing adversity is a common experience for many of us. Often, we face such adversity with resistance rather than the patience and kindness it deserves.
This Sunday, Jean-Marie will explore how facing adversity with patience and kindness can lead to a greater awareness of how these challenges came about in the first place and how we can choose to let them unfold differently in the future.
Join us this Sunday for another opportunity to remember who and What you truly are by engaging in likeminded fellowship with cookies and care.
