The Soul of the World
This Sunday, we are blessed with the presence of the YOU (Youth of Unity) from across our region (including 13 states). The teenagers spent the week at Unity Fort Worth to engage in the first in-person YOU event in the Unity movement since the pandemic—the Legacy Rally.
All week, the YOUers focused on developing the understanding that our personal legends contribute to the higher consciousness of the world, and we are honored to have them share their experience and Wisdom with us during service. Join us, for another Sunday of uplift and affirmation, filled with buzzing energy, and a delicious potluck after service. You do not want to miss this.

Luke 14:1–7
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
“The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho
Characters
Santiago: a dreamer and a seeker; represents those qualities in all of us.
Melchizedek: urges Santiago to follow his dreams; explains the importance of the personal legend.
Themes
Dreams: Dreams can guide us in our actions. As such, we should follow our dreams.
Fate: The idea of fate or God’s plan can hinder our pursuit toward Happiness, Awakening, Enlightenment, and developing our personal Legend.
Love: Without love our lives are incomplete. Essentially, love is the only things that matters in the end.
Omens: An omen can point toward a future outcome based on our Divine Ideas. If we learn to use them correctly, we may be blessed with lots of good omens.
Religion: Religion can be both supportive or detrimental to developing our personal legend. Religion can be limited, or we misuse the teachings and limit ourselves. But religion can also be support and used in a way that will allow us to fine-tune our legendary outcome.
Spirituality: In the book, spirituality is often seen as a replacement of religion, which is certainly helpful when religion hurts or limits us. But what if religious practices support our growth. Why then shouldn’t we embrace is as part of our spirituality?
