The Labor of Our Fruits

Many stories in varied scriptures point to the bearing of fruit as a symbol of spiritual growth, which also shows how many religions and spiritual paths are in agreement as to how we should take care of our spirituality. This Sunday, Jean-Marie will dive into the stories around the bearing of such spiritual fruit, which is often connected with the expectation to put in the work. How can we learn to work smart instead of hard to gain what we seek in our spiritual lives?

Join us this Sunday for another uplifting and meaningful service followed by welcoming fellowship.

Meeting Myrtle Again for the First Time

There are two books published, How to Let God Help You and Healing Letters, that give the world a glimpse into knowing Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of Unity. They include letters she wrote to people that had written to her asking for prayer, as well as a few lessons she taught. Yet, they represent an incomplete picture. There is an enormous amount of Myrtle’s writings that are unpublished, and it is from these that we can meet Myrtle again for the first time, engage with the woman that perhaps we didn’t know as well as we thought we did.

Join Rev. Kelly Isola and meet Myrtle again for the "first time." It will surely be a lively and thought-provoking time together.

The Soul of the World

This Sunday, we are blessed with the presence of the YOU (Youth of Unity) from across our region (including 13 states). The teenagers spent the week at Unity Fort Worth to engage in the first in-person YOU event in the Unity movement since the pandemic—the Legacy Rally.

All week, the YOUers focused on developing the understanding that our personal legends contribute to the higher consciousness of the world, and we are honored to have them share their experience and Wisdom with us during service. Join us, for another Sunday of uplift and affirmation, filled with buzzing energy, and a delicious potluck after service. You do not want to miss this.

Ritualizing Grief

The Hebrew date of the 9th of Av (Sunday, July 18th this year) is the darkest, saddest day of the calendar in Jewish tradition. Rabbi Siger will explain the roots of this somber holiday, some of the practices observed and how the lessons of this particularly Jewish holy day have universal lessons and applications.

Loss and grief are part of the human condition and can be experienced as individuals or as communities, and often both. Learning how to navigate and confront grief and loss is key to spiritual resiliency and continued growth.

Join us this Sunday as we learn about this important Jewish tradition and how it can influence our own spiritual journey, and enjoy wonderful music and friendly fellowship.

Oneness: Our Greatest Virtue?

We hear a lot about the idea that “We are all one.” It’s infused into our spiritual, wellness and mindfulness communities and growth practices. Yet have you ever wondered sometimes if we can just be one? Do we actually know what this means or what it looks like?

We've made this big value and virtue out of oneness. In some traditions there is the belief that the universe and all life came into form to differentiate itself, to experience itself. So is the virtue of oneness a reality?

Join Rev. Kelly Isola for a unique perspective and perhaps some evolutionary thinking around this idea of oneness. And, of course, celebrate with us the personal Divine with heart-felt music and great fellowship.

Facing Adversity with Patience and Kindness

Life does not always look the way we believe we desire it to be. Experiencing adversity is a common experience for many of us. Often, we face such adversity with resistance rather than the patience and kindness it deserves.

This Sunday, Jean-Marie will explore how facing adversity with patience and kindness can lead to a greater awareness of how these challenges came about in the first place and how we can choose to let them unfold differently in the future.

Join us this Sunday for another opportunity to remember who and What you truly are by engaging in likeminded fellowship with cookies and care.
