White Stone Ceremony

Click to watch on Facebook

In conclusion to the creative process, initiated by the Burning Bowl Ceremony on New Year's Eve, we are holding the White Stone Ceremony this Sunday to pick up our "new name." Rev. Jean-Marie will elaborate on John's symbolism in Revelation 2:17, to unveil the relevance of the white stone and what it means for us to receive our (hidden) "new name."

Gather a white stone and a writing instrument of your choice to write your new name on the stone as a focus for 2021.

Sermon Notes

Main Scripture

“Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.” (Revelation 2:17)

Supporting Scripture

“Let anyone with ears listen! (Matthew 11:15)

“I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33)

“Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Then Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which[a] comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6:31–35)
