Easter Sunday – We Are Open!
The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived! The UFW Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that in-person/indoor services will commence on
Easter Sunday, April 4 @ 11 AM.
As we all know, there is risk of contracting Covid-19 in a closed environment such as a church or going to any other closed facility. These are the conditions you can expect:
We will not be able to guarantee a 100% Covid-19-free environment.
Everyone entering our buildings will do this at their own discretion while agreeing to the safety measures in place (see below).
Fellowship and group gatherings will only be outside before, during, and after service.
Our live stream will continue to be available to everyone.
Bathrooms will be available.
Other services (e.g., nursery, peace chapel, youth and family, fellowship hall, library, etc.) will not be available.
The following safety measures will be strictly enforced:
100% mask wearing at all times while inside the building;
There will be no exceptions to vaccination status, alternate face coverings, age, or otherwise;
Maintaining of social distancing of six feet or more;
Checking temperature (individuals with elevated temperatures will not be able to enter);
Limited seating as marked to ensure social distancing (ushers will provide seating assistance);
Check in procedure for all persons to enable contact tracing if needed.
The Covid-19 Task Force and the Board of Trustees continue to monitor CDC guidelines and provision of federal, state, and local government and will make adjustments if and when necessary. The UFW leadership asks all members and congregants to help in making this gradual reopening an inspiring and meaningful experience.
Thank you all for your continued support of UFW over the past year. It’s due to your support that we are in a strong position to take this important step.
