About Movies That Matter

Movies That Matter is a program by the city of Fort Worth, which is presented bi-monthly at the theater at the Modern Art Museum. The film series presents uplifting, inspirational films that highlight important human and civil rights issues.

One Day on Earth

This month, the featured film is the 2012 film called “One Day on Earth,” a participatory media experiment made by a group of diverse volunteer filmmakers from all around the world. The film shows how the world is greatly interconnected, enormous, perilous, and wonderful. It’s a documentary that captures the same 24-hour period throughout every country in the world.
