Dear Friends of Unity,

We have been informed of someone posing as me asking for purchasing gift cards.

Please know this is a scam. Neither myself nor anyone associated with UFW will ever ask you to purchase gifts cards or make any request for payment other than those communicated to you during Sunday services.

We have not been hacked. This is simply a scam using publicly available information to pose illegally as UFW or any of its employees. If you have received such a request, please use this link to learn more: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/paying-scammers-gift-cards.

We will let you know of any further development in this case.
