Dear Loved Ones,
As we begin another year in our earth suits, we tend to look back at the past year, and look forward to the year to come. It is often too easy to put too much of our focus on what went wrong, on our mistakes, our lost opportunities. We tell ourselves that THIS year we are going to get it right!
I challenge you to look back, but with gratitude and joy, while acknowledging all the good, and all the challenges. We, as spiritual beings having a human experience, are constantly being challenged to look beyond the obvious, beyond the turmoil we often encounter, to look through the presumed reality of our lives to see the actual reality of Being One with the Spirit and One with All.
Our focus needs to stay true to what is real, and to keep the faith that the world we live in is beautiful, filled with love and hope, and not with despair. I challenge you to acknowledge the trials and the struggles, and to learn from these opportunities. I challenge you to look within and find the beauty that is in all of us.
As we march forward with our lives, let us be buoyed daily with the strength of purpose that God has placed in each of us. Strive to not compare your blessings and challenges with those of others. We each have a path to follow that is unique to each of us. Life is to be enjoyed and cherished, not to be dreaded and taken for granted. We are all God’s progeny, and that makes us pretty special. So, take a deep breath, fill your lungs with love and grace for all, and breathe out the good. Enjoy each and every moment of Now, because that is all we get.
“Let each of you live the life that the Lord has assigned, to which God called you.”
