Who is UFW without a church home?

At UFW, we believe that our community is not defined by its building or location. We are a community of people who find joy and communion by coming together in worship, service, and fellowship. We celebrate the thriving, vibrant community we already are. We are grateful for this time of contemplation and renewal as we redefine our purpose.

What can I do to help?

Contact Rebecca, our volunteer coordinator, via the form below to let us know you would be interested in helping us in this time of transition. There will likely be something to do (physical or non-physical) for everyone (e.g., packing, moving, participating in committees, making phone calls, etc.).

Where are we going?

The church home committee searches for suitable locations in close proximity to where we are now. We may be sharing space with another spiritual community until we are ready to find something of our own, if that is what we choose to do. With patience and through prayer, meditation, and contemplation, we are confident that we will find our next home soon.

With so much change happening in such a short time, how can I receive support and comfort from UFW and its community?

We are here to support you through this transition. Our weekly Sunday meditations are a great way to find clarity of mind and heart, while being in community. The Unity Friends are available to support you through listening to your concerns, providing prayer and pastoral care.

How will I keep up-to-date with all the unknown factors related to the future of my church home?

We suggest you continue to tune into our weekly Sunday service, whether in-person or online, to stay connected and encouraged through our transition. We plan to always offer an in-person experience, the location may change, but our dedication to an uplifting service will go on.

As new information is available, stay tuned for "mini-Town Halls" to be announced and publicized. This is the opportunity to stay informed about new information regarding our sale and move, plus ask questions. This opportunity will continue to be available in-person and online.
